What does Concentrix Corporation (CNXC) do?

Concentrix Corporation runs customer support, sales, trust-and-safety and back-office operations for large companies, staffing contact centers in dozens of countries and increasingly layering software and AI agents on top through its iX Suite. It was spun out of SYNNEX in December 2020 and roughly doubled in size by buying Webhelp in 2023. Revenue is close to $10 billion a year, spread across technology, retail and travel, banking and insurance, healthcare and other verticals, with long-tenured top clients (the company cites 16+ years average tenure for its top 25).

The investment picture is a tug of war. On one side, Concentrix keeps throwing off cash (record Q3 adjusted free cash flow of ~$218M, full-year guidance of ~$630M to $650M), non-GAAP margins are inching up, and the stock sits at roughly 2.4x non-GAAP earnings with a raised dividend. On the other, revenue is shrinking slightly, two hyperscaler clients are cutting support volumes into early 2027, and the market cap has fallen far enough that Concentrix wrote down ~$1.05B of goodwill in Q3, producing a large GAAP loss. With ~$4.1B of net debt against a ~$1.6B equity value, small changes in revenue or margins move the equity a lot in either direction.

The company is bigger and older than its 2020 listing suggests. Its roots go back to SYNNEX's 2004 purchase of BSA Sales, and it took the Concentrix name in 2006. The 2018 acquisition of Convergys made it a top-tier contact-center operator, and after the spin-off it kept buying: PK in December 2021, ServiceSource in July 2022, Webhelp in September 2023, SAI Digital in September 2025 and CastleHill, a governance, risk and compliance firm, in September 2026 (terms undisclosed). Webhelp's owners were paid with 14.9 million Concentrix shares, €500 million in cash and a €700 million two-year note, which is why Groupe Bruxelles Lambert (GBL) affiliates are the largest shareholder, at about 14.2% as of January 2026. Headquarters is in Newark, California, and Chris Caldwell is CEO, with Andre Valentine as CFO.

At the end of fiscal 2025 (November 30, 2025) Concentrix had about 455,000 staff in 74 countries and roughly 483 locations: about 240,000 in Asia-Pacific, 130,000 in EMEA and 85,000 in the Americas. It serves more than 2,000 clients, including over 160 of the Fortune Global 500. The five largest clients made up about 19% of fiscal 2025 revenue, and management cites 98% client retention. Around 89% of revenue came from operations outside the US, while about 54% was priced in US dollars, so currency moves affect both revenue and the cost of delivery.

What's driving Concentrix Corporation (CNXC)?

1. Selling AI into the installed base

Concentrix's iX Suite (agent assist and automation tools) had 61 live deployments covering 30,000+ advisers as of Q3 2026, and AI-involved new logo sales grew 63% quarter over quarter. Management says about half of revenue now comes from business won since generative AI arrived, which is its argument that AI expands rather than replaces the relationship. On the Q3 2026 call management broke the newer business into roughly $3 billion from client programs heavily reshaped by AI, $1.3 billion running through the iX Suite platform and $700 million from newer high-value services, and said those streams should grow about 30% in fiscal 2026. The suite launched in September 2024 and has two main products: iX Hello, a generative AI self-service tool for building virtual assistants, and iX Hero, an agentic tool that works alongside human advisers. Concentrix expects to exit fiscal 2026 with about $120 million of annual recurring software licensing revenue, small next to total sales, and management has said iX Hero margins are still some way from software-company levels.

2. Cash flow and deleveraging

Adjusted free cash flow guidance of ~$630M to $650M for fiscal 2026 is large relative to a ~$1.6B market cap. The company cut total debt by ~$211M in Q3 and targets net leverage of ~2.6x by year end, which would lower refinancing risk on the Webhelp-era debt. The debt stack includes senior notes at 6.60% due 2028 and 6.85% due 2033, plus term loans, a revolving credit facility and a receivables securitization facility. Management plans to repay more than $550 million of gross debt in fiscal 2026, including a $375 million term loan maturing in December 2026, and targets net debt of about $3.8 billion by year end and below $3.3 billion (about 2.2x adjusted EBITDA) by the end of fiscal 2027. Liquidity was close to $1.5 billion after Q3, including an undrawn $1.1 billion revolver.

3. Margin expansion from automation and offshore mix

Non-GAAP operating margin rose to 12.6% in Q3, up 30 basis points year over year, and Q4 guidance implies ~12.9%. Shifting work offshore and automating routine contacts lowers revenue per client but can raise profit per dollar of revenue.

4. Growth pockets outside technology

Banking, financial services and insurance revenue grew ~12% and retail, travel and e-commerce ~6% in Q3, offsetting weakness at large technology clients. Diversifying away from hyperscalers is central to returning to growth in 2027, which management expects to be back-half weighted.

5. A vertical mix in transition

Q3 fiscal 2026 revenue by vertical shows where the pressure sits. Retail, travel and e-commerce was the largest at $662.6M (+6%), followed by technology and consumer electronics at $603.5M (-10%), banking, financial services and insurance at $432.5M (+12%), communications and media at $381.9M (-7%), other at $228.0M (+4%) and healthcare at $145.2M (-17%). The two shrinking technology clients sit in the second line. Management says its exposure to accelerated volume cuts is limited to those two hyperscalers, both of which still buy other services, and that all five of its largest clients and more than 90% of the top 100 have added new services since fiscal 2023.

6. Capital return, paused for debt

Concentrix started paying a $0.25 quarterly dividend in November 2021 and has raised it every year since, to $0.37 declared in September 2026. Buybacks began under a September 2021 authorization: through November 2025 it had repurchased about 7.4 million shares for about $515 million, and in fiscal 2025 it returned $258 million through buybacks and dividends combined. It bought back no stock in Q3 fiscal 2026 so cash could go to debt reduction, leaving about $397 million of authorization unused. With roughly 61 million shares outstanding, each quarterly dividend costs about $23 million.

What are the risks to Concentrix Corporation (CNXC)?

The core risk is that generative AI lets clients handle more customer contacts themselves or through AI-native vendors, shrinking the volume of paid human support faster than Concentrix can replace it with software revenue. Revenue guidance implies a 3% to 5% decline in Q4, and offshore mix shifts are expected to weigh on revenue through fiscal 2027. Leverage is meaningful at ~$4.1B of net debt, so a prolonged revenue decline would pressure both the dividend and refinancing. Several law firms announced investigations after the June 2026 guidance cut, and the ~$1.05B goodwill impairment shows how far expectations for the Webhelp acquisition have fallen. Currency swings also matter, since most delivery and a large share of revenue sit outside the US. The Q3 write-down was the second in a year: Q4 fiscal 2025 carried a $1.52 billion goodwill impairment, also tied to the share price. Client concentration adds its own exposure, since the top five clients produced about 19% of fiscal 2025 revenue and two hyperscalers are already reducing volumes. Management has given no formal fiscal 2027 guidance and has said Q4 2026 and the first half of 2027 will feel the weight of faster AI automation, so the expected return to growth rests on second-half momentum and possible industry consolidation.

Is CNXC a buy or a sell?

We give no verdict on Concentrix Corporation. Both cases are real, which is why the question is contested at all, so here is the strongest version of each.

The case for buying. Selling AI into the installed base. Concentrix's iX Suite (agent assist and automation tools) had 61 live deployments covering 30,000+ advisers as of Q3 2026, and AI-involved new logo sales grew 63% quarter over quarter. The most optimistic published target, $45.00, assumes this works close to its best case.

The case against. The core risk is that generative AI lets clients handle more customer contacts themselves or through AI-native vendors, shrinking the volume of paid human support faster than Concentrix can replace it with software revenue. The most pessimistic target, $29.00, is roughly what CNXC is worth if this bites instead.

How is Concentrix Corporation (CNXC) valued? (approximate, October 2026)

A simple financial snapshot. These are approximations and refresh quarterly; for current figures see Concentrix Corporation's investor relations page or your broker.

  • Revenue (TTM): ~$9.9B
  • Fiscal 2026 revenue guidance: ~$9.83B to $9.88B
  • Non-GAAP EPS (FY2026 guidance): ~$10.97 to $11.09
  • Market cap: ~$1.6B (share price ~$26)
  • Net debt: ~$4.1B
  • Dividend yield: ~5.6% ($1.48 annualized)

On non-GAAP numbers CNXC trades at roughly 2.4x fiscal 2026 earnings and near 2.5x adjusted free cash flow, a valuation that prices in a sustained decline rather than stability. GAAP results show a net loss because of the ~$1.05B Q3 goodwill impairment, which is non-cash but tied directly to the lower stock price. Including debt, enterprise value is roughly $5.7B, or about 4x annualized non-GAAP operating income. For comparison, fiscal 2025 revenue was $9.83B (+2.2%), operating cash flow was $807M and adjusted free cash flow was $626M, so the 2026 cash guidance is roughly flat on a year earlier despite lower revenue. Management has said it expects fiscal 2027 adjusted free cash flow to be higher again, helped by lower restructuring costs, cash interest and capital spending. In June 2026 it had cut full-year non-GAAP EPS guidance to $10.83 to $11.18 from $11.48 to $12.07 and flagged about $175M of restructuring charges.
