Your Stake, in Walnut
ConnectedHow concentrated is my Stake portfolio?
Three of your eleven holdings make up just over half of it, and one sits above a quarter on its own, so Walnut flags it and shows why.

AI features
Stake ships no AI assistant of its own
As of October 2026, Stake lists no AI assistant and no official connector for ChatGPT or Claude. Its premium Stake Black subscription adds trading data, such as ASX market depth and course of sales, rather than AI.
Where Walnut fits
Stake shows each position and its return. Walnut reads Stake next to any other broker you connect, puts each holding against the S&P 500, flags any one name over a quarter of the portfolio, and places the buys you approve at Stake.

Everything else people ask about Stake, answered plainly.
Short answer
For Australians who want both the ASX and Wall St in one app, it is a low-cost start. Stake charges A$3 per ASX trade and US$3 per Wall St trade up to $30,000, and sells fractional US shares from US$10.
The cost a beginner can miss is currency. Money moved into Wall St is converted to US dollars with a 55 basis point FX fee, about 5.50 on every 1,000 converted, before any trade. Small, frequent top-ups add that up quickly.
What Stake lacks is a read on the whole portfolio. It shows each position and its return, not whether a handful of US tech names now carry most of the risk. That is the gap an AI that reads the account can close.

Stake operates under Australian Financial Services Licence 548196. ASX shares are registered in your own name on a HIN, and US shares are held for you by DriveWealth, a SIPC member, covering up to US$500,000 if that firm fails. Neither protects against market losses.
Connecting Stake to Walnut runs through a secure connection where you sign in at Stake. Walnut never sees or stores your Stake password, holds no money and moves none, and you can disconnect from Walnut's Brokerage screen at any time.

Short answer
Not directly. As of October 2026 Stake has no AI assistant and no official connector for ChatGPT or Claude. An app such as Walnut links Stake through a secure connection, and its connector lets Claude and ChatGPT read those holdings.
Through Walnut, Stake is read in full: every position, each one against the S&P 500, and a keep, trim or exit read per holding. Walnut also places the buys you approve in your Stake account; sells you place in Stake yourself.
