ConnectedWhere am I concentrated across IBKR and Fidelity?
Two names, MSFT and ASML, are 38% of the combined total. ASML sits only at IBKR, so a Fidelity-only view would miss most of it.

Where Walnut fits
IBKR's tools see IBKR. Walnut reads it next to Fidelity, Robinhood or any other broker you connect, puts every holding against the S&P 500, and lets you ask about the whole portfolio in one place.

Everything else people ask about Interactive Brokers, answered plainly.
Short answer
It can be. IBKR Lite charges $0 commission on US stocks and ETFs for US residents, there is no account minimum, and fractional shares start at $1. The platforms were built for active traders, so there is more to learn than at Robinhood or Public.
The range is the draw and the hurdle: 175 markets in 40 countries, with stocks, options, futures, bonds and currencies in one account. Someone who only buys US funds uses a small slice of it, and IBKR GlobalTrader is the simpler mobile app for that.
What no single broker app shows well is the whole picture when IBKR is one account among several. A portfolio-wide read fills that gap: which positions overlap, what the total leans on, and how each holding has done against the S&P 500.

Connecting IBKR to Walnut uses a secure connection where you sign in at Interactive Brokers. Walnut never sees or stores your IBKR password, reads your holdings without placing orders, and you can disconnect from Walnut's Brokerage screen at any time.

Short answer
Yes. IBKR's AI Integration connects ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Perplexity and any tool that supports MCP to your IBKR account. The AI drafts trade instructions, and you review and submit each order in an IBKR platform. It covers IBKR accounts only.
Claude came first, in June 2026, then ChatGPT and Grok on June 22, and any MCP tool from July 28. IBKR says the integration is not available in India or Japan, and instructions never become orders on their own.
Walnut connects the same assistants to IBKR next to your other brokers. It reads the account through a secure connection, frames each holding against the S&P 500, and places no orders at IBKR.
