What Questrade's own AI does
Questrade groups its AI tools as Agentic Finance. Each one works inside Questrade, on Questrade accounts.
Questrade MCP
Links Questrade to the AI you already use. It can analyze the account and buy, sell or cancel from the chat, each confirmed by a push notification.
Flows
Rules that trade on conditions you set, such as buying a dip or investing idle cash. They can be paused and can require your sign-off.
Questrade Pro
Questrade's trading platform, with automatic support and resistance lines, an Options Radar and rules written in plain language.
Where Walnut fits
Questrade's tools see Questrade. Walnut reads it next to Wealthsimple, Interactive Brokers or any other broker you connect, puts every holding against the S&P 500, and places the buys you approve at Questrade.

Everything else people ask about Questrade, answered plainly.
Short answer
Yes, for Canadians who want to pick their own stocks and ETFs. Questrade charges $0 commission on Canadian and US stocks and ETFs, has no account minimum and no annual or inactivity fees, and sells fractional shares from $1.
It offers the registered accounts most Canadians start with, TFSA, RRSP, FHSA and RESP, plus margin and cash accounts. Dual-currency accounts hold CAD and USD side by side, so buying a US stock does not force a currency conversion each time.
What no single broker app shows well is the whole picture when Questrade is one account among several. A portfolio-wide read fills that gap: which holdings repeat across your TFSA and RRSP, what the total leans on, and how each one has done against the S&P 500.
