Short answer
Yes, buys you approve. Walnut splits an amount across a basket's target weights, shows the plan and sends market orders after you confirm. It does not sell.
Use the Invest button or ask the assistant. You sell at your broker, and Walnut picks it up on the next sync.

Public and a Robinhood Agentic account, plus E*Trade, tastytrade, Webull (US and Canada), moomoo, Questrade, Wealthsimple, Trading 212 and Stake. Other brokers are read-only.
At Robinhood, Walnut buys only in the separate Agentic account you open there. Your main account stays view-only.
At a view-only broker, copy the plan as text and place it yourself.

Each preview gets a signed confirmation tied to you, that basket and that amount. An order needs it, and reusing it never buys twice.
Prices are re-fetched at order time. On Robinhood, each leg also passes Robinhood's own pre-trade review.
