Where Walnut fits
BUX shows each position and its return. Walnut reads BUX next to DEGIRO, Trading 212 or any other broker you connect, puts each holding against the S&P 500, flags any name over a quarter of the portfolio, and answers questions about all of it.

Short answer
For small, regular investing, yes. BUX Investment Plans buy fractions of stocks and ETFs with no commission, and the Basic plan has no monthly fee. Basic does charge 0.20% a year on invested assets and €3.99 for an EU share market order, so frequent trading costs more.
The three plans trade a monthly fee for lower costs. Plus, at €2.99 a month, charges no yearly asset fee below €250,000, pays 1.75% on cash and adds three Zero Orders a month. Prime, at €7.99, cuts commissions to €0.99, pays 2.00% on cash and adds model portfolios built with J.P. Morgan active ETFs.
BUX is offered in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Austria and Ireland, and not in the UK: it sold its UK business in July 2024. Buying a US share also carries an FX markup, from 0.75% on Basic down to 0.20% on Prime.

BUX B.V. is authorised and regulated by the Dutch AFM and is a subsidiary of ABN AMRO. Your shares and money are held in BUX Custody, a separate foundation, so they stay apart from BUX's own capital if it fails. Cash is protected up to €100,000. None of this covers market losses.
ABN AMRO Clearing holds client money, and ABN AMRO Clearing Bank pays the interest on cash. Connecting BUX to Walnut uses a secure connection; Walnut never sees or stores your BUX password, holds no money and moves none, and you can disconnect at any time.

Short answer
Not directly. As of October 2026 BUX has no AI assistant and no official connector for ChatGPT or Claude. An app such as Walnut links BUX through a secure connection, and its connector lets Claude and ChatGPT read those holdings.
Through Walnut, BUX is read in full: every position, each one against the S&P 500, and a keep, trim or exit read per holding. Orders are not placed from Walnut at BUX, so any trade the assistant describes is one you place in the BUX app yourself.
